Wedding Details


Every wedding, no matter how large or small, involves many details that need to be looked after.  To make your planning easier, we have compiled this list of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special day.

Seating Arrangements and Room Set-Up
Most rooms can be set up to match your plans.  We offer flexible seating arrangements ranging from 7 to 10  guests for each  6ft round table.  Top tables ideally seat a maximum of 12.

Dance Floor and Risers
These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.

Ceremony Room
Hyatt Regency Birmingham has the advantage of holding a wedding licence to perform civil ceremonies.  The Symphony Ballroom (which breaks down into smaller rooms – The Scherzo, The Andante and The Allegro Room), The Sonata Room and The Drawing Room are all perfectly suited for this occasion.  Our professional staff will be glad to ensure that your life as a married couple begins in the perfect romantic atmosphere.

Event Times
Within the hotel, all events can be held until 12:30am without additional costs being incurred.  Should you wish to extend your event up until 2:00am, please advise your event co-ordinator, who will advise on the charges involved.

Order of Events
From the traditional to your own unique vision, allow our wedding co-ordinator to assist you in deciding the flow of your day.

Audio-visual Equipment
Hyatt Regency Birmingham has a contract with an external audio-visual company that is an expert in executing  your ideas, from a slide show to special lighting.

Wedding Decorations
Hyatt Regency Birmingham works with a number of stylists and florists and our wedding co-ordinator will be delighted to suggest a suitable company to create the atmosphere of your dreams.

Music
We are open to welcoming bands, DJ’s or individual entertainers.  If you have not yet chosen any music or entertainment, we can suggest a resident DJ that ,we have worked with for a number of years.
Parking
Hyatt Regency Birmingham offers car parking at the nearby Brittannia car park on Holliday Street. A shuttle bus can collect and drop off guests as required.

Prices per car are £11 per day and £14 for up to 24 hours.

Pricing
All prices include VAT at the standard rate.  Deposits will be required prior to the event.

Gold Passport
